Commissioning Agent

Commissioning Agents should have a strong knowledge of core MEP systems, and an ability to understand and trouble shoot sequences of operation, and planning, scheduling and supervising commissioning activities. The most desirable candidates should be comfortable communicating with engineers, commissioning staff, contractors, construction managers and systems operators, and must be able to distill complex technical information. Successful candidates will be required to plan, coordinate and implement multiple complex projects at the same time, spend some time on the job sites and participate on various teams providing management and technical support. Duties

Under the supervision of a project manager, the commissioning agent will perform:

  • Site inspections
  • Creation of commissioning documentation
  • Writing of technical reports
  • Writing of functional performance testing scripts and protocols
  • Functional performance testing of various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Serve as attentive and responsive point of contact for various clients. Maintain strong relationships and foster trust with building ownership, financial officers and operations staff
  • Organization and maintenance of commissioning documentation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
  • New Graduates and experienced engineers will be considered
  • Healthcare experience is a plus
  • Commissioning Certification is a plus
