Testing & Balancing

Testing and balancing is final quality assurance phase for construction of new HVAC systems, the verification of ASHRAE ventilation and air quality requirements, the verification and demonstration of automatic temperature control systems, verification of both normal and emergency power, fire alarm system operation, developing operating and maintenance procedures, training of the operating and maintenance staff and future follow-up relative to the performance of the building systems. The final product, in addition to a complete documentation of the systems performance, is the building wner’s and operators’ confidence that all of the system components function to meet the owner’s project requirements.
